Mexican folkloric ballet
Luxurious marble Palace of Fine Arts was built in the period from 1905 to 1934. The National Opera and the Symphony Orchestra are housed here. Twice a week the gorgeous Mexican folkloric ballet (Ballet Folklórico de México) performs here.
The glass curtain produced by Tiffany `s in New York is particularly notable in here. It depicts the volcanoes Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl.
The National Folkloric Ballet is the pride of Mexico City. It makes a variety of cultural and artistic life of the country. You will be carried into the world of pre-Hispanic and colonial Mexico of different states with their dances, music and costumes.
