Description

UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY!
Only from 15th of January to 25th of March

Annually more whale species come to Los Cabos than to any other part of the world. Hundreds of whales imbue the warm waters of the Mexican north, providing a wonderful opportunity to watch them both from the shore and from boats.

Beginning their journey in Arctic waters, the animals overcome about 19 thousand kilometers and by the end of December  beginning of January arrive to Los Cabos, where they remain until the end of March to go back. For many centuries they choose Baja California peninsula as the wintering grounds because of a favorable for breeding climate, not too deep water and the possibility of good food. Of the 11 species of whales known in the world eight come to the Mexican coast, including humpback whales, gray and blue ones.
