The caves of Tolantongo
Hidden among the mountains of the Mexican state of Hidalgo, the caves of Tolantongo form a true oasis: a number of thermal pools will make you feel yourself "in the Garden of Eden."
Mineral hot springs heat the water in the river up to 34 degrees Celsius. Deposits of salts and a variety of minerals give a blue-turquoise color to the water.
The flow of hot river breaks through the rocks and makes two large grottos. Local caves, famous for its stalactites and stalagmites, have become a popular site among the tourists. The temperature inside the cave reaches 36-38 degrees Celsius.
Water cascades flowing down the rocks form 46 thermal pools – the so-called hidden Paradise (Paraíso Escondido), where you can relax under a natural waterfall massage.
We invite you to plunge into the magical world of harmony with nature!
