Xcaret

Xcaret (Xcaret – ish-ka-ret) – perhaps the main attraction of Cancun – seduce you with its endless temptations. You will need at least a whole day to get around and see this wonderful recreation area.

Xcaret is not only environmental, but also the archaeological park, located south of Cancun, in the area of the Riviera Maya. The territory of this area was once a home of the tribes of the Mayan, the remains of their civilization can be found in the ruins of pyramids, carefully protected nowadays.

In the park you will not only enjoy relaxation, but also learn a lot about the flora and fauna of the Peninsula of Yucatan. You’ll visit the pavilion of exotic butterflies and the aviary of jaguars. In the evening you will find here an unforgettable show with Indian songs and dances, as well as performance, recreating of the ancient ball game "tlachtli" – the same one, the winner of which was sacrificed.
