Los Cabos
Los Cabos is the most southern part of Baja California, where two resorts are situataed: San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. They are represented by long, sandy beaches, cliffs and delightful cozy bays. The contrast of the desert, the mountains and the sea, combined with fishing, water sports and golf, gives to the resort a special charm.
The resort area of Los Cabos stretching along the sea for about 40 km is a new and therefore expensive and prestigious resort. It is represented by chic hotels, immersed in the greenery, and behind the hotels, where the resort area ends, there are the desert dunes and colorful, alien landscapes enliven by a variety of cactus. The rock El Arco, a giant rock in the shape of an arch is one of the main natural attractions of the place.
The fancy of wildlife gathers here every autumn to watch thousands of gray whales. They are true giants, reaching a length of 15 meters and weighing 20 to 40 tons. In the warm, soothing waters they chase about each other, copulate, snort and somersault in total scramble. If tourists want to take a closer look at the whales, they can book special tours in the lagoons.
