It may seem strange, but there is still no approved list of cities, members of the so-called Golden Ring. However, no doubt it includes Vladimir, Suzdal, Sergiyev Posad, Rostov, Yaroslavl, and Kostroma. Golden Ring of Russia is the ancient Russian cities where unique especially valuable monuments of history and culture of Russia are preserved. These are centers of folk crafts, the cities which are a symbol of the very idea of "Russian-ness" existing in the minds of a lot of foreigners.

In Vladimir you can visit the Cathedral of Assumption and St. Demetrius Cathedral, you will be introduced to real guslars, you will see the wrought-iron finial and get learn about their true purpose. In Sergiyev Posad you will have the unique opportunity to dip into the sacred wells and to listen to the singing of the famous all over the country church choirs. The Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius − the largest Russian Orthodox Monastery, founded in 1337 by St. Sergius of Radonezh – will surely fascinate you and remain in your memory for long time. Suzdal is known for its Kremlin, built in the X century and to nowadays preserving the ramparts and ditches of an ancient fortress; you will see several churches and ensemble of episcopal courtyard with an ancient Cathedral of the Nativity here too.

Golden Ring of Russia is the numerous Orthodox shrines, majestic white stone temples of XII-XIII centuries, hipped buildings of XVI century, profuse patterns of XVII century, the works of architecture and art schools of Rostov, Yaroslavl, Suzdal.

Moscow − St. Petersburg − Sergiyev Posad − Suzdal − Vladimir

Dates: 28/06, 12 and 26/07, 09 and 23/08, 06 and 20/09.

Day 1. Moscow

Transfer to the hotel with a guide.

Day 2. Moscow

10:00 − 18:00 − a city tour, a visit to the Kremlin cathedrals. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3. Moscow

10:00 − 14:00 – Panorama-Museum "Borodino Battle" and walk through the Arbat. Free time. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 4. Moscow − Sergiyev Posad − Suzdal

09:00 − departure to Sergiyev Posad, Russian religious center. A visit to the souvenir market. Departure to Suzdal. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

Day 5. Suzdal − Vladimir − Suzdal

A tour of Suzdal. Suzdal Kremlin. The Museum of wooden architecture.
Moving to the city of Vladimir (30 km). A panoramic city tour with a visit to the Cathedrals of the Assumption and of Saint Dimitri.
Return to Suzdal. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

Day 6. Suzdal − Moscow − St. Peturburg

Departure from Suzdal railway station to Moscow. Journey in the fast train Moscow – St. Petersburg. The train leaves at 16:45, and arrives to St Petersburg at 21:00.
Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

Day 7. St. Petersburg

10:00 − 14:00 − city tour + the Peter and Paul Fortress. Free time. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 8. St. Petersburg

10:00 − 14:00 − Hermitage Museum. Free time. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 9. St. Petersburg

10:00 − 16:00 − Palace and Park Museum Petrodvorets (Peterhof), 30 km from the city. Free time. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 10.

Check out of the hotel at 12:00. Transfer to the airport with a guide at the scheduled time.
