Excursion to the Kremlin of Uglich and a visit of the cathedral.
Uglich got its name probably from that angle (“ugol” in Russian) which Volga River does here. Besides, there are at least two possible versions: from the fact that the coal (“ugol’” in Russian) was burning in this place, or from what the Uglich people were resettled to this place from Ugla River, a tributary of the Dnieper. There is the only preserved building of the XV century in Uglich – the Palace of Tsarevich Dmitry.

Day 5.

A panoramic tour of the city Yaroslavl (a visit to the Yaroslavl Monastery and the Church of Elijah the Prophet).
In the Cathedral dedicated to the Savior’s Transfiguration of the Monastery in Yaroslavl at the end of the XVIII century the famous manuscript of "The Tale of Igor's Campaign" was found.

Day 6.

Excursion to Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery and Goritsy.
The monastery was founded by monks Cyril Belozersky − a follower of St. Sergius of Radonezh − and Therapont of White Lake in 1397. The cloister early became one of the most important book centers of Russia. By the end of the XV century 210 manuscripts were kept here.
A village of Goritsy was first mentioned in written sources by the name Maidenly Hill (according to other sources, Ancient Mountain) in the XVI century. In 1544 the Monastery of Goritsy was founded, at that time the Churches dedicated to Resurrection and the Feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin already existed in the village.

Day 7.

A journey to Kizhi (the Museum of Wooden Architecture.)
Kizhi Pogost is the world- famous architectural ensemble, located on Kizhi Island of Lake Onega. It consists of two churches and the bell tower of XVIII-XIX centuries, surrounded by a fence − the reconstruction of traditional fences of graveyards.

Day 8.

Mandrogi − a green park.
Mandrogi is a stylized Russian village with souvenir shops, cafes with Russian vodka, saunas and other amusements. The shops of handicraft (weaving, pottery, art, lace ) are interesting for tourists.
